Karen Lehrer, MA, MFT

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist,
and have been a commercial and fine artist all
my life. I am trained in Jungian Psychology,
Experiental Psychotherapy and Integrative
Body Psychotherapy.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling
Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute,
Santa Barbara, CA. My undergraduate degree
is from Antioch University, Los Angeles. For
many years, I pursued a successful career as a
designer in the textile and apparel business,
and have taught at the Fashion Institute of
Design and Merchandising, Los Angeles.

After leaving the business world in 1997,
I worked as a psychotherapist at the C.G. Jung
Institute of Los Angeles. I am a clinical member
of the California Association of Marriage and
Family Therapists.

My professional training, coupled with my
creative background, enables me to bring a
unique perspective to my work.

I have a private practice in Santa Barbara, CA,
where I live with my husband and wonder cat.
